AUBERGE SAHARA is established by the BOURCHOK brothers, a few meters from the sand dunes of "L'ERG CHEBBI" in the oasis famous for the shooting of many international films such as: The Secret of the Sahara, Marrakech Express, Operation Condor, Lion of the Desert, ... In this oasis, the highest palm trees of the region at the foot of the beautiful sand dunes give a beautiful view especially from the terrace of the Inn where you can see the sunrise and sunset and where you can also sleep in summer under the open sky under the stars....

Local oral legend says that the construction of Morocco's largest erg - Erg Chebbi - was God's punishment for a few rich families who refused to give shelter and food to a poor woman and her son at a local festival while they played with couscous balls after eating well. They were buried by sand from continuous wind storms that formed large dunes, the highest of which are approximately 160 m high.
